ASTM B815 covers the alloy in form of rod. The requirements for the chemical composition hardness and tolerance, tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation are specified.<\/p>\n<p> Ultimet is a STELLITE alloy-like wear resistance and HASTELLOY alloy-like corrosion resistance in a single, highly weldable material.<br \/> ULTIMET alloy (UNS R31233) provides a unique blend of properties. From a wear standpoint, it behaves like the STELLITE\u00ae alloys with lower carbon contents. From a corrosion standpoint, it possesses many of the attributes of the C-type and G-type HASTELLOY\u00ae materials, in particular outstanding resistance to chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion.
